~ How it started ~
My journey with pet rats began 50 years ago
when I welcomed my first rat, Christeen,
into my life at the age of 8.
A few years later when I had young children of my own
I began breeding.
After a few years of breeding beautiful
Blue Hooded, Teddy Bear, Siamese, and Hairless rats.
I took a hiatus but returned to my passion
when my kids were teens.
Although short-lived I enjoyed every moment
and once again due to life,
I had to put my hobby on the back burner.
Fast forward 20 years, my grandchildren expressed interest in having pet rats and I jumped at the chance.
I contacted a breeder and got started.
With a total of 50 years of experience, I am excited to share my love for these amazing creatures and help others experience the joy they bring.
