Adoption Information & Fees

Adopters are required to fill out a pet adoption application.
Breeders need to fill out a Breeder's adoption application if they want rat(s) for breeding.
We have the right to deny any application.
All Pet and Breeder Adopters are required to agree to and sign an adoption contract & waiver before taking their rats home.
Applications are good for six months, and if you have adopted from me and are in good standing, you will not need a new application, regardless of how long it's been, but you will still need to sign the contract and waiver.
Adopter must show proof of a proper cage unless purchasing a temp cage from StormHaven Rattery.
Pet, Breeding, & Show Rats are never placed as feeders.
Rats are always placed in same-sex pairs
Rats are placed as pets only; they are not to be bred unless written approval is given.
I do not adopt out mixed genders to pet homes, if you buy a male, they will all be males, etc.
Rats are to be returned to StormHaven Rattery if you can no longer care for them.
Payments can be made with Cash or through Cash App or PayPal (there is a 5$ fee for every PayPal transaction).
A 25$ hold/deposit fee per rat is required for all holds and is non-refundable should you change your mind for any reason. However, that deposit can be transferred to another litter from an upcoming breeding if there are openings available.

Prices:

Standard & Double Rex/Hairless

Females/Males: $80 each - $160 per Pair, or $240 per Trio

Siamese/Himalayan/Tonkinese/Velveteen/Rex/Satin

Females/Males: $90 each - $180 per Pair, or $270 per Trio

SilverMane/Harley/Tortishell/Marble/Snowflake

Females/Males: $100 each - $200 per Pair, or $300 per Trio
