Health Guarantee

 

**Video and or pictures of the quarantine area

will be required and a copy of the paperwork

from your vet visit for your guarantees to be valid.

 

Our guarantee only covers 

congenital, hereditary, or temperament defects 

the first 180 days or 6 months 

after leaving the rattery.

 Sickness/Disease (URIs are not covered at any time) are only covered for the first 14 days, provided the rats are quarantined properly.  

Being delivered via transport service voids the 14-day sickness/disease guarantee.

Our guarantees

do not cover URIs or Tumors at any time.

All rats adopted from StormHaven must be properly

quarantined for no less than 4 weeks after

leaving the Rattery for the guarantees to be valid.

Quarantined means -

Only the rats just adopted are housed together

and in a separate room away from any other rodents or pets. 

Rats should be quarantined for no less than 4 weeks or 28 days.

 The adopter must have all rats

vet-checked within the first 14 days of purchase

for the guarantees to be valid.

An extra 4 days will be given to those having their rats

delivered by transport.

Adopters must report any congenital or hereditary medical

issues within the period of the 180-day guarantee,

Reports made after the 180 days will be invalid.

Any sickness that requires medical care

must be reported within 14 days of purchase.

Please remember URIs & Tumors are not covered.

If a veterinarian deems the rat

to be of unsound temperament or health due to

hereditary or congenital

issues within the 180-day guarantee, or your rat

becomes sick, has mites, lice, or fleas within the 14-day period,

The adopter may request a replacement

for another rat of equal value.

StormHaven will request veterinarian

contact information to validate any claims.

StormHaven will not pay medical fees or issue any refunds; StormHaven will only issue replacements of equal value.

Note**

Please do not allow children or

adults to poke at rats through the caging or when holding.

Do not feed through the bars of the cage!!
