At StormHaven Rattery, the health and well-being of our rats is our highest priority. Each rat is raised first and foremost as a cherished companion, receiving attentive care, socialization, and enrichment throughout every stage of life.

Our mission is to responsibly improve the fancy pet rat through ethical, selective breeding practices. Pairings are carefully planned, bloodlines are closely tracked, and long-term development of multiple lines is approached with intention, patience, and transparency. While working to strengthen these lines, we offer a diverse range of colors and coat types, without ever compromising health or temperament.

We are committed to producing exceptional pet and breeding-quality rats with a strong focus on health, temperament, conformation, and longevity. Equally important is ensuring that every rat is placed in a home aligned with our values—loving families for our pet placements and dedicated, like-minded ratteries for our breeding placements that prioritize quality, responsibility, and ethical advancement of the fancy rat.
