how does one limit themselves?​

Firstly, before color, markings, and coat type, foremost in our mind and practices are health, temperament & longevity.

​

There are certain things at the moment you can't really breed out of your lines, but you can make them less prevalent, such as tumors and uri's.

​

Some lines are more prone to things like skin problems and respiratory issues, while others have problems lactating. So, as breeders, we have our hands full working out many issues so they don't plague our own lines.

With so much to focus on when breeding,

it's important to limit the varieties you choose to work with.​
